1) Who we are
POG Frames is operated by Principal Optical Glazing Ltd (“we”, “us”). We sell designer frames and provide glazing services via pogframes.com.
2) Scope
These terms apply to purchases made on this website and to your use of the site. By placing an order you confirm you’re at least 18 and legally capable of entering into contracts.
3) Orders & contract formation
- Your order is an offer to buy. We accept when we send an order confirmation email.
- We may reject or cancel an order (with a refund) if a product is unavailable, pricing is obviously incorrect, or we suspect fraud/misuse.
- Please check your basket carefully before paying; frames and glazing are made to your selections.
4) Prices & taxes
- Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable.
- Delivery options and costs (if any) are shown at checkout.
- We try to ensure accurate pricing; if a material error occurs we’ll contact you to reconfirm or refund.
5) Payment
We process payments securely via trusted providers:
- Stripe for cards and wallets
- PayPal for PayPal account payments
Card details are submitted directly to the provider; we receive payment references only. Orders are started once payment is authorised.
6) Delivery
- Estimated dispatch times are shown during checkout. Custom glazing can add production time.
- Deliveries require a correct address and safe access. Risk passes on delivery.
- Delays caused by courier issues, adverse weather or events outside our control are not guaranteed dates.
7) Prescription & glazing
- You’re responsible for providing accurate and current prescription values (including PD if needed) and any relevant tolerance notes.
- Where you upload a prescription file/photo, we glaze from those values. If values are unclear we’ll contact you.
- Frame suitability is subject to lens thickness and shape; very high prescriptions may have aesthetic/edge limits which we’ll advise on.
8) Returns & cancellations
- Change of mind (frames only): unused, undamaged frames (no glazing performed) may be returned in original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
- Custom lenses: prescription lenses are made to your specifications and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty goods.
- Before we cut lenses: you may cancel a glazing order if production hasn’t started. Contact us immediately.
- Adjustments/remakes: if you experience fit or visual comfort issues, email us—minor adjustments or a remake may be offered after assessment.
9) Faults & warranty
- If an item arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within a reasonable period, we’ll repair, replace or refund in line with consumer law.
- Exclusions: accidental damage, misuse, normal wear (e.g., micro-scratches), and damage from third-party adjustments.
- Please report faults promptly with photos; keep all packaging until we advise next steps.
10) Repairs & adjustments
We offer cleaning, pad/screw replacement and hinge/arm repairs where feasible. Turnaround and pricing depend on assessment. We’ll confirm options before proceeding.
11) Liability
We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for death/personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
12) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
